H2Pro's E-TAC is generating hydrogen and oxygen at separate times. This significantly lowers power consumption compared to electrolysis, yielding a higher system efficiency and eliminates the need for a membrane and allows for mass-produced low-cost electrodes, resulting in a safe and easily scalable design at significantly reduced cost. H2PRO's technology produces hydrogen and oxygen in two separate stages. In the first stage, one electrode produces hydrogen while the other electrode stores the oxygen. In the second stage, the electrode releases the oxygen.
