Magna systems incorporate unique patented technologies, the BiScopic Protection (BSP) concept and Three Dimension Motion Detection (TDMD). BiScopic Protection (BSP) Three Dimension Motion Detection (TDMD), BiScopic Protection is comprised of two vertically-aligned IR micro bolometer cameras linked by a unique software system. It provides accurate and reliable detection of targets with the ability to estimate their size and location (azimuth, distance and height above ground) in a passive manner. Three-dimensional representation of the scenery provides accurate and reliable detection with a high Pd, while maintaining a low false alarm rate (FAR). Magna’s patented algorithm, NFAR (Negligible False Alarm Rate), makes an accurate estimation even when targets are as small and far away as to fill a single pixel on the camera.
