Aiming to revitalize traditional manufacturing by integrating cutting-edge technologies, these Accelerators provide strategic, technological, and financial support to transform ideas into globally competitive products. By fostering collaborations between industrial companies and startups, the Accelerators program aims to strengthen Israel’s leadership in advanced manufacturing innovation. 

 

Program Description

This call for proposals is being launched as part of the Manufacturing Industry’s R&D (MOFET) Accelerators program, which is intended to establish and operate supporting frameworks to accompany technology ventures of manufacturing-oriented industrial companies in developing products that are competitive globally, with established innovation. The program is designed for corporations/consortia that combine expertise from two different sectors: technological expertise in R&D in the fields of manufacturing industry, alongside expertise in strategic consulting, building a product’s roadmap, and connecting with venture capital investors. 

 

Designated Audience 

Corporations or a consortium of corporations that are able to provide high-quality added value, through establishing connections, leveraging partnerships of the manufacturing industry with players in the local high-tech sector and in the global arena, and maintaining a source of knowledge to establish R&D capabilities in manufacturing-oriented industrial companies.  

Partners in the consortium can be Israeli or foreign companies that intend to establish a supporting framework in Israel with physical infrastructure to promote product development in manufacturing-oriented industry. 

 

Criteria

  • The bidder’s business plan (20%)
  • The scope and quality of the bidder’s and/or partners’ experience (20%)
  • The added value of the bidder and the partners in the bid (20%)
  • The proposed team (20%)
  • Sources of financing (10%)
  • Overall impression of the committee members (10%)
